Christine McVie was a member of several bands in the mid-60s before she began playing with Fleetwood Mac in 1968, initially as a contract session player, before formally joining the band in 1970. Then, emerging as a songwriter by 1971, with her first composition appearing on her fourth album with the group. Fast forward to their 14th album Tango in the Night in 1987, Christine wrote one of the group’s biggest hits that would go on to spend three weeks at #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
