Franke Previte is best known for co-writing two songs from one of the best-selling albums of all time: (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life and Hungry Eyes, both from the 1987 Dirty Dancing soundtrack. But in the early ‘80s, Franke was the frontman for his group Franke and the Knockouts and their big hit came from their self-titled debut album which reached the Top 10 on the Billboard chart.
