With a name inspired by a passage from the C. S. Lewis book Mere Christianity, this group has received two Grammy Award nominations, one for Best Rock Gospel Album in 1997 and the other for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group in 2000. At this point, the song had only been on the charts for 3 weeks, but Sixpence None the Richer would eventually spend five weeks at #2. In our song spotlight: “Kiss Me” at #21.
