A new musical about the life and career of Neil Diamond premiered this past June in Boston. And just opened on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. But this week back in 1976, Neil debuted on the charts with the title track to his 10th album that also shares the name of that new musical. In its first week, Beautiful Noise enters the chart at #36 on it’s way to its peak position of #8.
