Elvin Bishop is regarded as one of the greatest blues rock guitarists of all time being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame. Over the course of his solo career, he’s released nearly 30 albums but has the title of “one-hit wonder” thanks to a 1975 song he felt his gravelly voice wouldn’t do it justice.
