Since forming in 1980, Duran Duran have sold over 100 million records worldwide thanks to their unique blend of pop, rock, and electronic music, with hits like “Rio” and “Hungry Like the Wolf.” Their popularity continued to grow throughout the 80s, but the following decade saw a dip in their commercial success. Despite the challenges, Duran Duran persevered, and in 1993, they made a triumphant return with their self-titled seventh album.
